Davis Turkey Trot November 22, 2008 | The Davis Turkey Trot is an annual tradition that takes place each year on the Saturday prior to Thanksgiving. This year the Turkey Trot celebrates it`s 21st year and will host over 4,500 runners, walkers and kids plus an additional 3,000 spectators! As an icon and annual tradition for many Northern California runners, walkers and families, the Davis Turkey Trot offers a fun event for all ages, abilities and interests.
Parents with young children are invited to participate in our one-of-a-kind event, the 5K Baby Jogger Run. All runners/walkers in this division push their child(ren) in a baby jogger or stroller. Runners, joggers and walkers, casual and competitive alike, compete in our certified 5K and 10K Run events. In addition, we host three non-competitive fun runs for kids. The Tot Runs alone have 600 kids, thus making it the largest kids run in Northern California. This year we have added a NEW 1-mile walk, now making it possible for everyone to participate.
